You didn’t think we'd do all the work for you. One of the great things about Orange Peel is not only that its an event for the community of OSU students, Alumni, and residents of Stillwater but its an event run by them as well. Orange Peel has become a tradition and a huge success through the years due to the community that volunteer their time over summer to see it through to the end. We have many outlets for people to get involved.

Peel with a Cause

We are excited this year's Orange Peel philanthropy project is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude, which was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962, has treated children from all 50 states and more than 70 foreign countries. The hospital’s daily operating costs are approximately $1.1 million which are primarily covered by public contributions. To learn more about St. Jude, please visit its website at www.stjude.org.

We are proud to announce we have two wonderful events scheduled to assist in our efforts to raise monies for St. Jude - Chow Down and Shop for St. Jude.

Enjoy a great meal and help find a cure for childhood cancer at the same time! Eat at any participating restaurant after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13 and the restaurant will donate 10% of their proceeds directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Downtown merchants also are partnering with Orange Peel for a one night shopping extravaganza. Shop at participating merchants between the hours of 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13 and the store will donate 10% of your purchase directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
